HSBC Investments has launched the ‘HSBC GIF Sustainability Leaders Fund’, an innovative investment fund focusing on European multinational companies that HSBC considers to be leaders in sustainable development. The University of St Andrews and ConocoPhillips have announced the call for entries for the ninth international St Andrews Prize for the Environment. Applications are invited from individuals, multi-disciplinary teams or community groups for the 2007 annual prize of $50,000 USD for the winner and $10,000 USD for each of the two runners-up. Anyone wishing to enter the 2007 prize should submit a single page project summary of no more than 500 words by 31 October 2006.

WWF, the global conservation organization, is seeking to find a successor to the PROGRAMME DIRECTOR based at WWF International in Gland, Switzerland. Application deadline is Friday, 9 June 2006.

LEAD International has approved in its 2006 Special Opportunities Investment Fund a grant to a LEAD Brazil project. The overall goal of Mobilizing the Network 2006 is to enhance the impact and sustainability of LEAD Brazil by mobilizing the network and partnering with Fellows.
